Propcockpit charts are built on TradingView
Every chart in Propcockpit is drawn by TradingView’s Advanced Charts, licensed from them and running on our own market data.
We had a choice early on: build a charting engine, or use the one traders already know. Building one would have meant years spent re-learning what a candle should do at a session boundary, and shipping something every prop-firm trader would have had to unlearn on their first day. So we licensed TradingView’s Advanced Charts instead, and spent that time on the part nobody else was building: the risk layer that keeps a funded account inside its firm’s rules.
What that means in the product is that the chart behaves the way you already expect it to. The drawing tools are the ones you have muscle memory for. The timeframes, the crosshair, the price scale and the keyboard are theirs, not our approximation of theirs. What is ours is underneath: the prices come from your own broker through the cTrader Open API, so the candles you are reading are the ones your account actually trades against.
The charts are free, and they stay free
Every chart in Propcockpit is free on every plan, including the free one, and none of it sits behind a signup wall on our public charts page. That is not a launch promotion. It is the basis on which we hold the licence, and it is written into how the product is built: no plan check has ever guarded a chart, and none ever will.
The paid part of Propcockpit is the automated risk layer - auto-flatten, trailing stops, the enforcement that refuses an order before it reaches your broker - and it lives on its own pages, never as a control on top of a chart.
What we did not do
We do not resell TradingView, and none of this is an endorsement of Propcockpit by them. They license the charting library to us; the product around it, and every claim it makes about risk, is ours alone.
Advanced Charts is a product of TradingView. Charting technology and all rights in it remain theirs.
