What this calculator assumes
- The trail is a fixed share of the starting balance, measured down from the account's high-water mark.
- Many firms stop the floor rising once it reaches the starting balance; untick that if your firm's rules say the floor keeps trailing.
- Whether the mark is taken on equity or on closed balance is the firm's rule. Enter the one your firm uses.
- The figures it opens with are an example. It runs in your browser and stores nothing.
- A prop firm measures its own rules on its own server, in its own time zone, with its own rounding. This shows where you stand by the arithmetic above; the firm’s measurement is the one that ends an evaluation.
