What this calculator assumes

  • One point on one lot is $1, which assumes a lot is one contract of the Dow. Many cTrader brokers quote it that way; some quote ten. The value is editable; read the lot size under Symbol info in cTrader and set what one point moves one lot.
  • The stop is entered in index points.
  • US30 moves tens of points in a minute around the cash open. Spread, commission and slippage are not in the number.
  • The figures it opens with are an example. It runs in your browser and stores nothing.
  • A prop firm measures its own rules on its own server, in its own time zone, with its own rounding. This shows where you stand by the arithmetic above; the firm’s measurement is the one that ends an evaluation.
