What this calculator assumes
- Firms divide the best day by different things. FTMO's 1-Step Best Day Rule uses the profitable days added up, losing days left out, with a 50% limit. Alpha Capital's payout consistency score uses net profit, losses included: 40%, and 15% on Alpha Direct. Fintokei StartTrader caps a day at 40% of the phase's profit target. Each was read on the firm's own page on 2026-09-25; choose what your firm's rules say.
- On a net-profit basis a losing day lowers the total and raises the share; on the profitable-days basis it changes nothing. The same days can pass one firm's rule and fail another's.
- The extra profit needed assumes no new day beats the current best. A profit target does not grow, so on that basis more profit cannot bring a day under the cap.
- The figures it opens with are an example. It runs in your browser and stores nothing.
- A prop firm measures its own rules on its own server, in its own time zone, with its own rounding. This shows where you stand by the arithmetic above; the firm’s measurement is the one that ends an evaluation.
