Auto-flatten

Closing everything at a Breach - what it promises and what it cannot.

Auto-flatten closes every open position on a Protected account the moment a Breach is detected. It is a Pro and Premium capability, on top of the Lock, and it is off unless you switch it on.

What it promises

That the closes are attempted from the server, at the instant the engine sees the Breach, without a browser being open. What comes back - which positions actually closed - is what the venue confirmed, and anything still open after it is named rather than assumed away.

What it cannot promise

A fill. A close is an order and a broker fills it at the price the market offers, which during the move that caused the Breach may be some distance from the one you saw. It also cannot act faster than your broker answers.

The exit that survives everything - this product being down, your machine being off, the network being gone - is the stop loss resting at your broker. Auto-flatten is a layer on top of that and never a replacement for it.

Keyboard

?
Open and close this sheet.
Escape
Stand down anything that is armed - the kill switch, an open notification panel, this sheet. It never commits anything.
Tab / Shift + Tab
Move between controls. Every one of them shows a focus ring.
Arrow keys
Nudge a focused panel around the canvas. Hold Shift to move it further per press.
Enter or Space
Activate the control that is focused, and only that one. There is deliberately no key anywhere that sends an order on its own.
