The chart
TradingView Advanced Charts on Propcockpit's own feed, with your orders and positions drawn on it. Free on every plan.
TradingView Advanced Charts, drawing bars built from the same price frames the watchlist is painted from. The chart is free on every plan - it is never behind a paywall and no paid feature appears on it.
The toolbar
Seven timeframes, a chart type, indicators, and two view controls at the end: Hide orders and fullscreen. Hiding the order lines is a view and nothing else - your stop is exactly where it was, the ticket and the blotter still say so, and the chart carries a small note while they are off. Fullscreen is the browser's own, so Escape leaves it.
The lines
Two kinds, and the difference is whether the price is a fact or a proposal.
- The order being composed - its entry, stop loss and take profit. These can be dragged. A drag is a request: it moves the number in the ticket and nothing reaches your broker until you press the button that says what it will do.
- Open positions - one entry line each, with the stop and target revealed when you hover or click the position's chip. An entry never moves again, so those lines cannot be dragged; changing a position's stop is the Manage tab's job.
With more than one position on the same side, a dashed line shows your average entry. It is arithmetic rather than a price anything happened at, which is why it is the only dashed line on the chart.
Percentage and indexed scales
Those scales measure from the first visible bar rather than from an absolute price, and nothing available to the overlay converts them. Rather than draw your stop at an invented level, Propcockpit says so and draws nothing until you switch back.
